Xavier Mansion - Japanese Gardens
A large area of the grounds is landscaped with a Japanese Garden. A river filled with coi fish runs through the middle with a wooden bridge. There is even a small waterfall splashing on the rocks. Bamboo can be heard clacking on the rocks. A small statue of a Buddha can be found in various places. The trees hang over the area and when the flowers are in bloom, it brings a variety of color to the peaceful landscape.
It is after dark. It is a cool but not over cold night. Vlad sits in the Garden next to the river watching the colorful fish as they swim by. His hands full of small stones they he been throwing at the fish.
July steps toward you after noticing you at the Japanese Gardens, "A place like this would be the last place I'd think about coming looking for you." she says, arching one eyebrow, "Everything alright, Vlad?"
Vladimir looks back over his shoulder at July, "I don't know any more." He drops the stones, "I messed up bad." He looks away, "Fucked everything up the other night." His voice now just above a whisper the tone far from how Vlad normally speaks.
July chuckles softly, "'Fucked up'?" She asks, smiling as she approaches you, "What did you do wrong? You know what you did wrong, Vlad?"
Vladimir looks up at you and lifts a eye brow, "you got to be kidding me you were there you saw what happen in the danger room everyone mad at me. Well almost everyone you seem to be talking to me."
July chuckles and moves to sit down, "Yes, I was there." She nods, "I know what happened. I didn't ask you to tell me. I just asked if you /understand/ what happened there."
Vladimir shrugs, "lost my cool. I thought when we go into the danger room we would learn to use our powers not how to throw a punch we could do that down in the gym we don't need all the high tech stuff." He sighs and moves some hair out of his eye, "I guess I was holding the danger room training at a higher standard then it is. I thought it would be
more like the what the wind guy was doing when we open the door."
July chuckles softly, "Yeah, you really lost it. But did you apologize to them already?" she asks, arching one eyebrow, "You really got it bad back there. And, what Mr. Summers and Ms. Munroe said is right: doesn't matter how powerful is your power or weapon. With no skill behind them, they're useless against a skilled opponent."
Vladimir shakes his head, "Ms. Munroe most likely not want to speak to me again and Mr. Summers well after the whole telling him I was leaving I think he washed his hands of me." He sighs, "In short I alienated my self from the people who want to help me." There is a tear running down his cheek, "I might have no choose but to leave now."
July hmms at that, and then shrugs, "If you want to leave, then just leave." She says, and then stands up, "Just don't blame others for that. Have you even tried speaking with them again? Apologized? Don't make hasty conclusions before even trying it."
Vladimir looks up at you surprise at your statement, "what? No I haven't I just thought they wouldn't speak to me again I mean I would if someone acted that way to me."
July chuckles softly, "Maybe you would." she says, shrugging softly, "But, then again, Mr. Summers' first name is Scott, not Vladimir, if you know what I mean."
Vladimir nods and sighs, "yah I get what you mean." He stands and wipes off his butt, "so what brings you out here?"
July chuckles softly and shrugs a bit, "I wanted to take a look at the Japanese Gardens, that's all." she says, looking around. "Quite a beautiful place. Serene." she says, before looking back to you, smiling, "All in all, a place I would not think about looking for you."
Vladimir snorts, "your right normally it be a place I would grow board with in a few minuets but it also a good place to think when your head feels like it's going to explode with troubles."
July chuckles softly, "Yeah, I figured." she says, shaking her head softly, "So what are you thinking about? I mean, what are you planning to do about what happened?"
Vladimir shrugs, "plan and plan run though my head most dumb most unrealistic. I might still need years to be a full adult and years of training to understand my powers but I know the simplest ideas are most times the best."
