History
Adrian was a happy child. He always showed a gift for seeing how pieces fit. The little block sorters? He always did well with those. His home was a traditional happy home. Dad worked for a living as a businessman, bringing home money for his housewife and son. Adrian was the apple of his eye. He looked like his father, he played the way his father did as a child… everything was there.
Adrian may not have been the smartest kid in the class when he went through school, but he always did well in English and Science, when dealing with things mechanical. He was a published poet at an early age, sending in small works to little literary magazines. His parents were always proud. As he grew, he began learning to do mechanical things with his dad. How to change the oil in the car… how to change a tire… so much so that when he was a young teenager, he was already building his own first car from pieces that he scavenged. What better pastime for a young man? Save the family money AND provide his own transportation.
Adrian also knew that after graduation, he was going to follow in his father's footsteps and work in the military for a while before entering the real world. After all, it trained you in ways you needed in life. He was sure of that because papa said so. As Graduation approached, Adrian was in the top ten percent of his class, which his parents considered outstanding, and that was all that mattered to him.
On graduation night, Mom was there, because she was travelling with one of the other families to help set up the refreshments for after the show, being a member of the PTA and all. For some reason, Dad never showed up. After graduation, the policemen were there to tell him and his mother what happened. A huge fight occured right along the interstate. It crushed his father's car.
Returning to America as soon as his term ended, he contacted a non-profit organization, offering to work for them. Their only opening was in New York, where they paid for him to move. Settling there, he's been biding his time, leading in silence… helping the small groups form under his own leadership. He's helped his family grow and develop as well, teaching them exactly how America should be
