"If you're actively looking to better yourself, I can help you. Would you like my help?"

Love… or at least love affairs… can blossom in the strangest of places. A maintenance worker and a businessman for example. A company vice president even. He had climbed the chain, and made his way almost to the top. He was happy, and healthy, but he couldn't climb any higher. Why? Appearance. Sure, they never said you had to be married, but in old companies like the one he worked in, they wanted people to be married to be at the top levels. It just wouldn't do. However, he had no intentions of getting married at all… even after he met Consuela.

Consuela had come with her family from Europe, to the bright potential in America. However, the business didn't last. Sure, they became naturalized citizens, but the job offers stopped coming, and they were stuck. She took strange job after strange job before finding her way to a company hiring for maintenance. Sure, it put her in league with those… South American Hispanics (Not true Spanish like she), but she would deal with it and keep moving up.

Consuela was pretty. And she was picky. She never was one to even want to sleep around. In fact, she remained a virgin until she met Daniel Reeve. Vice President of a global chemicals company. He would be a partner, but… things were preventing it. They had a short-lived, but torrid affair. Nine months later, a little bundle of joy was born… She named him after her uncle and his father. Andres Reeve. Confronting him, he had a paternity test, and then swore that they would want for nothing. He wouldn't marry her, but he would provide for her and the child.

Andres grew up in a split household. Learning life aspects from his mother, and business aspects from his father. He was a silent child, often listening to others more than he spoke. They loved him, and treated him properly, but he always missed the true aspect of family. Everyone together, happy. But, he never said a word. Why bother? What would it change that would work out right?

He made good grades in school, which pleased his father, who put more and more money aside for him for when he reached adulthood. He had friends, but he often stayed alone, just watching and listening. This aspect really worked when puberty struck… making him realize that he was much more than a normal human.

Rather than go to hang out with other people, he would retreat into books. He knew that he wouldn't be able to play any ball games, or run track, or anything with the other boys, so he went to the quieter, gentler studies. In books, he found himself adoring altered society stories. Animal Farm. 1984. Utopia. Anything where someone changed the rules. He knew what he would do as he grew.

It took time, and years to plan and begin creation, but he finally had an outline. Even at 22, he knew what he was going to do. The first step would be to gain a bachelor's degree in social work, then he was going to gather people together and help them. Help them grow and fit society and form a better world from the ground up.

As of now, he's finally opened his halfway house, using the money his father had put aside for him but has only a few tenants. As for anything further… it's not happened yet. His mother has just recently passed away, due to a congenital heart defect she never knew existed. While he's in touch with his father, he expects and asks for nothing but support. His father understands his humanitarian goals.
