What life Ben Starr can remember is stilted. He has memories of growing up in Vermont. Of going to school there, and of having a fairly normal life. He always knew he was different. His body was lighter than any other he knew. He was amazingly agile. Honestly, most of his background is unknown to him, but he makes it up if he thinks too hard about it. As it stands, right now, he's a young man taking a few college courses in his spare time and working as a barrista in a coffee shop. But lately… he's been having these dreams.
