Players: David and Mikhail
Summary: David goes to check up on Mikhail and clears the air.

Xavier Mansion - Ramsey Dormitories Lobby
The lobby of Ramsey Dormitories has two elevators at one end of the wall along with the entrance to a cafeteria. On the wall are three pictures that say 'In memory of'. One is of Douglas Ramsey, another of John Proudstar and the last one is of Jean Grey. There are several couches and tables down here for students to relax. Large windows in the front and sides allow for a lot of light in the room.
It has been a few days since David and those kidnapped by the demon have returned from Tegu-Haaz. David had been wanting to meet with all the students who were taken to check on them, but waited until his own injuries in the final battle with the demon had healed. Feeling better and only walking with a slight limp, David dressed in his Prodigy-modified costume white trenchcoat with white and gold uniform complete with yellow cybershades, makes his way into the Ramsey Dormitory. It has been years since he lived here when he was a student. He walks through the hall with different memories filling his head before he finally finds one of the returned students.
Mikhail oddly kinda liked Tegu-Haaz, it was simpler there and he got to hunt alot, which was pretty damn fun, he's dressed in dark blue jeans, black sneakers, a white long sleeve shirt with two blue stripes halfway down the upper arm and 42 on the chest and back, he's just left his room and is heading to the kitchens.
“Mikhail?” David calls out to the young mutant. Rushing a bit towards him, David continues, “I wanted to see how you were doing since our return from Tegu-Haaz?” Finally reaching him, David lets off a nice peaceful smile. He picked up that Mikhail did not really like him too much when the first met.
Mikhail looks round, "Hello David, I'm doing fine thank you, why do you ask?", why wouldn't he be fine, it's not like he was one of the ones affected by the troubles in Tegu-Haaz.
“Well, we were gone for over a month. Away from here. Away from family and friends and transported to a hellish dimension. Some people were pretty bummed out about it. So I wanted to make sure everyone was ok and adjusting to life back home.” David quirks his eyebrow that Mikhail would ask him why.
"I don't have any family, and my friends were there as well, they're still here now, so not a whole lot has changed really", Mik is honestly completely fine, David really should be speaking to the others.
“Well, I guess that is good. How’s Marshall? I haven’t seen him since we’ve been back and I think he had a hard time adjusting while he was there.” David asks genuinely concerned for him.
"I think he's doing ok, but he's probably just being brave, you should probably talk to him though", Mik sighs as he smells someone burning things in the kitchen, he might actually just go hunting instead.
Nodding his head, David offers, “I will. *pause* David looks around a for a moment, “I also wanted to ask you about something during Tegu-Haaz? You seemed annoyed by me and I wanted to see if that was the case and address it.”
Listening, David takes a moment to think of what to say, “Well, I was trying to be helpful while we were there. But maybe my approach was a bit off. I apologize for that.” He smiles and then half smiles, “I am glad I decided to speak Romanian now. Can I ask why you don’t like the language?”
"My life in Romania was not a pleasant one, i don't like to think about it, you speaking Romanian kina forces me to", huh, Mik thought all the teachers would be familiar with his file by now, guess not.
“Oh sorry.” David frowns and sighs, “By the time we had been taken I had not yet reviewed all of the students’ files and while we were in Tegu-Haaz, I had no access whatsoever. I won’t make that mistake again.” David extends a hand out to shake as an apology.
Mikhail shakes David's hand making sure not to scratch him, he doesn't wanna have to explain to the teachers why he poisoned him, "Well now you know, so you won't do it again and i won't get annoyed, so everyone’s happy".
“Yes, everyone is happy.” David grins and then notes, “Well now that that is out of the way, I am very hungry. Looking forward to not having to eat rabbit or deer or any type of stew for awhile. DO you want to grab something to eat?”
Mikhail nods, "Ok but there are people in the kitchen burning their food, i can smell it from here", Mik personally didn't mind eating rabbit and deer, he actually prefers it to cooked food, but now they're back, he has to do the whole civilized thing again.
Pausing for a second, “If you were to hunt up here in Westchester what would you typically hunt?” David toys with the possibility of hunting with Mikhail.
Mikhail shrugs, "That depends on how far i go, squirrels, rabbits, deer, if i go far enough i can sometimes find wolves, why'd you ask?", he's an excellent hunter, mostly cos he’s perfectly adapted for it.
“Well, I was thinking we could go hunting some time. I can adapt your skill, but it might be fun to use do the real thing with a real hunter.” David grins. “I did pretty well while we were at Tegu-Haaz.”
Mikhail nods, "Yeah sure if you want to, you might have some trouble with keeping up with me though, I’m faster than a normal person", he actually grins at the image of David trying to keep up.
Grinning, David smirks, “Well, I will try my best to keep up then.” The cybershades light up and flicker, “Oh but I will have to take a raincheck. My girlfriend is calling me.” “Hey Nori” David states as he waves to Mikhail, “It’s a date.” And he heads out of the dorm. Nori can be heard in the background saying, “Date?” David responding, “Not what you think”…
