//Xavier Mansion - Antonio and Robyn's Room //
One thing is apparent, Antonio and Robyn's styles definitely clash.
Antonio's side of the room is very neat and organized; everything seems to have its place. His bed is always made and he has very few things personalizing his area of the room. There is one poster on the wall displaying the blue and black Inter-Milain soccer team and a small red and green flag with yellow borders on his desk, the flag definitely looks European. In one of the corners of the room is Antonio's fencing equipment.
Robyn's side of the room is cluttered but not messy and has a bit of a creepy feel to it. His bed has black sheets with a Nightmare Before Christmas pillow and comforter. On the wall is a Nightmare Before Christmas poster and a poster showing the art of Edward Gorey. On his end table are a collection of little figures that seem to have a deamonish quality to him. On his desk are more little figures like a tree that instead of leaves has hands and a snake eating someone holding a help me sign. He's got a few art books on his desk along with his regular school books. A cased cello sits in the corner of his side of the room.
With a groan, Robyn slowly woke up and as soon as he opened his eyes, well, lets just say he wasn't expecting what happened. A red blast of energy shot from his eyes and right to the ceiling, leaving a nice hole above his bed. Robyn immediately shut his eyes as the plaster and bits of roofing came down around him. "Oh man.." He groans sounding confused, afraid to risk opening his eyes again. Though he'd be able to control it with concentration, he doesn't know that right now.
It takes a moment for the word to get out to Scott. He himself hasn't realized his own switched powers, but his face looks fuller. Nothing too noticeable yet. Scott was one of the first adults to come to the room. He knocks on the door. "You guys okay?" He asks, letting the occupant inside to allow Scott access to the room.
Robyn hears the voice but doesn't get up. He sits there with his hands covering his eyes. "Mr. Summers? My powers aren't….my powers…" He says as he knows he did something weird and he really hopes he doesn't get into trouble for putting a hole in the roof. He doesn't care if the headmaster comes in or not.
The door opens and the headmaster comes in. "What happened?" He asks, looking at the boy closing his eyes, he's got an idea. Especially because his own powers are not back. The headmaster look above, the hole going right through to the ceiling and roof.
"I woke up this morning, and just…I don't know I caused a hole in the ceiling. It was an accident sir." Robyn says taking a deep breath. "It's like what you do Sir." He thinks that's the best way to describe it as Robyn doesn't know it is Scott's power he has.
"Don't worry about the hole…it's not the first and it's not going to be the last time something happens." Scott's brown eyes look around the damaged area. "If it's like mine, at least you closed your eyes before turning your head." He says, looking to Robyn. "Right…let's see if my glasses work on you." The headmaster offers the student.
Robyn nods as he just doesn't know what will happen the next time he opens his eyes. "What's going on Sir? Why have my powers changed?" He just doesn't know they've been swapped. He doesn't even know if Scott has the answer for this.
"I don't know just yet Robyn… but I'm going to find out." Scott chimes in, though he's sure this isn't going to be the only incident of the day. "C'mon, let's get you to the main building." He does check to make sure Robyn's okay to go out of his room. "First thing, see if Ruby Quartz works against your eyes." He says, looking to the student, he reaches a hand to Robyn's shoulder, a bit more dignified than leading by the hand.
Robyn nods and lets himself be led by Scott, not caring if he's walking around with his eyes closed in his Nightmare BEfore Christmas jammie bottoms. "Thank you sir, I didn't have much control with my other powers and I guess I don't have much control with these." Robyn says trying to smile. "Oh Sir…I also want to tell you, I've noticed Jordan's been missing."
"I know. Four others have been missing. We're working on that too. But for right now, let's focus on letting you see again." The headmaster continues out to the quad and to the main building. "We'll get to the locker room, I keep some spares in there." He offers the teen. "I don't have any control at all with mine, but with the glasses, you'll see red and pink, but at least you'll see."
That's what Robyn didn't want to hear, that Jordan really was missing. He was hoping that maybe he just left to go home or something and forgot to mention it. There's a look of worry on his face but he can tell Scott doesn't want to say anything further, plus he's not about to menion that Jordan's his boyfriend to Scott. "Thank you sir. How do you manage like this all the time?"
"It's just one of those things you get used to. I have worn those red glasses since I was a teenager." The headmaster offers, reaching the locker room after a brief elevator ride. "There's a bench right behind you." He says, letting the student have a seat while Scott opens his locker and picks up a pair of glasses. "Okay… let's see if they work…" He tries to put the blinders on the sides flush against Robyn's eye sockets like they should. "Okay, open 'em." He says, looking for that red spot behind each lens.
Robyn opens his eyes and everything is red, but there isn't that red spot behind each lens like with Scott's eyes. It seems he can control it, to an extent. It's just with Robyn, who knows when he might have an accident such as when he's accidentally possessed people in class. "Thank's sir. I don't feel the same..feeling behind my eyes like I did before." He stands up and looks down. "I should go get showered though sir, thank you again."
