Xavier Mansion - Japanese Gardens
A large area of the grounds is landscaped with a Japanese Garden. A river filled with coi fish runs through the middle with a wooden bridge. There is even a small waterfall splashing on the rocks. Bamboo can be heard clacking on the rocks. A small statue of a Buddha can be found in various places. The trees hang over the area and when the flowers are in bloom, it brings a variety of color to the peaceful landscape.
Sophie and Skyler are both parked out on a stone bench in the Japenese gardens, sitting side by side. "Oh, probably shouldn't bust out my smokes around you then." The little teen says with a chuckle, leaning in to place another playful punch into the Logan-look-alike's shoulder. "Besides…" She takes in an huge breath of air through her nostrils, "You're smelling pretty natural yourself!"
Daisuke walks into the area just in time to hear Sophie and raises his eyebrows. "You're smelling Logan now…wait…Skyler?!" He says noticing his friends name tag and rushes over to give Skyler a hug. Sophie is the next person to get one. "Oh man I've missed you two." He says as he was stuck in time for over a month.
Skyler laughs again at Sophie, "Hey, deodorant stings the sinuses," he complains before being taklehugged by Daisuke. "Oh, man! I haven't seen you in ages!"
"It's been way too long!" Sophie replies in agreement and returning the hug given to her. "So where have you been? I mean, I've sort of heard some stuff, but it's always better to get things straight from the horses mouth, right?" Turning back towards Skyler, another playful punch is thrown in the direction of his shoulder. "Ever heard of making sacrifices for the sake of others?"
"Me, Jared, Eddie, Jordan and Julian all got pulled into this weird shit where we had to travel through time…I hated it." Daisuke says as he's just happy to be home. "When did you become Wolverine Skyler?" He asks as he knows he missed something there.
"After Robyn blasted me with Professor Summer's optic blasts," replies Skyler, like that kind of thing happens to help all the time. "Logan was around so I copied him to keep myself from having to spend some time in the medbay."
"Crazy." Sophie replies, deciding not to probe it any further at this time. Nothing like being forced to talk about an experience you hated. "Yeah, it's been real interesting the couple times I've thought Wolverine was coming into my room for some reason and it just turns out to be Skyler stopping in to grab something." She looks to Skyler, shooting him a quick wink. "If you'd ask me, I think a little time in the medbay wold have been good for you."
"Huh…wow." Daisuke says trying to figure that out. "Well I'm glad you're all right even if you are Mr. Stinky Arm Pits." Daisuke says teasing Skyler with a chuckle. "Hey, can I tell you two something that happened while I was doing my crazy time hopping thing and ask you not really to tell anyone, it's…I don't know what to think of it."
Skyler rolls his eyes at Sophie. "You just wanted to ogle my butt some more," he says playfully before bapping Daisuke in the arm when he's called Stinky Armpits. When Dai gets serious, Skyler scowls and leans closer. "What's up?"
Sophie rools her eyes back at Skyler. "Oogle your butt? Maybe with the form you were in before Wolverine, but definitely - and I cannot stress this enough - definately not with you as Logan!" Her laugther quickly dies down as she turns back towards Daisuke. "Mums the word Dai, what's up?"
"I guess I just have to get it out but when I was doing the whole time jumping thing I ran into my future self…as a superhero." Daisuke says hinking it's just weird. 'I mean you're not supposed to see yourself in the future are you?"
"Hmmm… that is interesting." Sophie says just before biting down into her bottom lip. "I haven't taken the time travel class just yet, so my expertise is a bit rough on the subject matter. I do remember Doc Brown claiming it was a bad idea, but he did meet up with his self in the second back to the future and nothing seemed to happen, right?" Yep, it's almost impossible for her to take anything completely serious. "Joking aside, I'm sure it is not that big of a deal. I mean, you made it back, right?"
Skyler scratches his head thoughtfully at the thought. "I don't know. I mean, I think it's okay because anything you do that would change your future would just spawn you off into an alternative universe or something." He shakes his head. "I'm not the right person to talk about that kind of thing."
"Just, you're not supposed to know the future, it kind of takes a bit out a living when you know where you're going to end up, make sense?" Daisuke says before shaking his head. "Any way, I'm back and with two of my great friends. So things have been treating you two okay?"
Sophie just shrugs her shoulders, "Yeah, I guess I could see that, but who knows, matter you are in an alternate universe and you'll start to notice slight differences, right?" She pauses, her mind racing through more and more combinations of different universes. Like an etch-a-sketch being wiped clean, the little teen begins to rapidly shake her head. "Whoa, enough of that… Yeah, things have been going decent. Nothing too exciting I guess, which can be a good thing I've learned."
"Uh," Skyler begins a bit sheepishly, "I'm grounded for forever." He shakes his head, "The woman that I copied before I copied Logan could fly, so I snuck into the Danger Room to teach myself how to do it." Then he says softly, "Then there's the whole sneaking off, impersonating an X-Man to fight a giant floating head to get everybody's powers back. Yeah. That didn't go over so well."
"Well I'll have to go out and grab you some good food and some pizzas and other junk food and we can have a fun movie night or something, make up for you being grounded." Daisuke says with a chuckle. "I heard bits about people going and sneaking off but like Sophie said before, better to hear it from the horses mouth. But then we know how rumours fly here."
Sophie laughs, "Yep, we sure do. Never seem to cease either." She gives Skyler a rather healthy slap on the back. "Don't worry, we'll figure out a way to get you ungrounded. Not sure how yet, but I'm always up for a challenge." She pauses to cock her head a little towards the side. "You now, pizza sounds really good right now! Didn't realize how starving I am. Well, if you two are… well… nevermind."
Skyler nods his head, "I could do with something to eat, yeah."
"Food sounds good right now, I'll order something and then meet you two in the rec room for dinner and movies." Daisuke says getting up and brushing himself off. "It'll be great to spend time with you guys again." He says as he heads off to aquire pizzas.
"Sounds like a plan!" She says to Daisuke before he heads off to order the pizzas. "To the rec room it is then, right?" She gets up off the bench, turning towards Skyler. One hand is extended out to him, in an offer to help him up before the little teen heads back into the mansion.
