History
After moving out with Kaden, Drew ended up joining the Coast Guard. With his skills, he was amazing at the job. When all hell broke loose, though, he happened to be right above Barnes. He was patrolling the waters when the Sentinels attacked. Being a non-mutant, he wasn't deemed a threat. At first.
The biggest problem was that when they DID deem him a threat, they went all out. When his body was destroyed, it didn't regenerate the same. He was bits and pieces held together by water, until he just sloughed off the pieces and remained as liquid. His water form was reminiscent of the classic Merman, but he could solidify as necessary.
He chose to avoid land after that, remaining in the waters. The affairs of humans had already annoyed him enough. This doesn't mean he doesn't get involved from time to time, but… he's not sure what he wants to do. Kaden has gotten himself in the middle of it. He's… considering it.
