History
As life moved on with Kaden, him and Drew moved out into an apartment of their own. He got his GED and went on to become a firefighter. He was open about his powers to the fire crew and they were able to use him to save a lot of lives. His work as a fireman opened him up to really care for life and allowed him to forgive himself for those he killed. For now his powers were saving lives, not taking them away.
Kaden also developed in his powers and almost becoming one with fire. It is who he is and he fully accepted it, he even developed a form of a fire serpent that he could change at will into. He was happy and content and loved his job. Life was finally working out for Kaden and his anger issues were almost gone.
That is until the Sentinels attacked. The Government wanted Kaden to join them, as he wasn’t a mutant, but he refused. When he refused they tried to kill him. He was at work when they came for him and instead of being taken his co-workers stood up for him, most of them dying. He wanted to stay and protect his friends but they wouldn’t let him. Two of his coworkers got him to safety and hid him from the mutant hunters. After a month of hiding, he eventually rejoined with Drew.
Now it's 2020, Kaden's been working with the Rebels, assisting them in saving mutants by fighting the Sentinels. He figures for all the lives saved by the Sentinels he destroys, he can make up for his fellow firefighters who died to protect him. He's been known to sacrifice his life and let himself be killed countless times, to let those he's fighting with get away.
