History
Missing for several years, Leo resurfaced right after the massive sentinel attacks that took the pair of schools down. His light is stronger than it ever was, making him a speed demon of sorts. He doesn't talk about what happened in the interim.
When he returned, he immediately sought out the mutants he knew. Some forgave him for vanishing. Some did not. But whether they did or not, he still fights for the freedom of mutants.

Powers: Leo's light isn't giving him any more strength than he used to have. But his speed has magnified, putting him in a very high caliber. His run speed and thought speed is the equivalent of Mach 5 at average. He can now shoot his blasts of energy, but only when not using his enhanced speed.
