Xavier Mansion - Boathouse on the Dock
A wooden dock stretches fifteen feet out into the water. Students can fish from the dock, or dive off if they like. A few rowboats, canoes, and paddle boats are tied to the docks for the students to use. A boat house where students can find paddles and life jackets sits at the edge of the water.
It's thursday morning and Mikhail is standing outside the boathouse, hes dressed in dark grey jeans, a dark green t-shirt, a light brown jacket with two darker brown strips on the elbows and shoulders, a wood bead necklace (like the ones surfers wear), white and green sneakers and his now blue again hair is gelled into spikes, hes looking across the lake grinning.
Robyn is dressed in a heavy Xavier's sweatshirt along with a pair of dirry and beat up jeans and work boots. He's decided to come down here and see what he can do in regards to working on the boat house by himself. The boat house is almost done being repaired and there's a lot of old wood thrown in a pile along with all the signs of work going on down there. As he heads down he's grateful to see Mikhail there, a distraction from work! "Hey Mikhail, sorry I didn't get a chance to really talk to you last night."
Mikhail turns round at the sound of Robyn's voice and walks forward to meet him, "Heya Robyn, no worries you were making sure Jono was alright, how is he by the way?"
"I haven't seen him yet today, I figured I'd go visit after class." Robyn says as he's worried about the man he looks up to. "So how does it feel, to be rid of that tattoo?" He says smiling happy that his friend is rid of such a horrible mark. "And I like the hair by the way."
Mikhail nods at Robyn then looks down at his wrist for what is probably the thousandth time since yeasterday, "It feels great, like getting rid of the last part of the cage", he shrugs about the hair, "I can't afford to re-dye it right now, but glad you like it, how you been?"
"I've been good, been busy. Between classes, having to rebuild the boat house with Lucas and Dallas and then spending time with Jordan, things have been really good." Robyn says with a smile that shows he's happy. If it wasn't for the thing with Jono last night, it seems things would be perfect. "Jordan surprised me by taking me out to dinner on Sunday." He says looking down at Mikhail's wrist and smiling. "I'm glad it's gone and about the hair, I know /I/ like it blue, but if you want it back to blond, you can always talk to Mr. Parker-Mayfair."
Mikhail smiles, "I'm glad you're doing good Robyn, especaliy after the whole demon thing, you deserve it", he runs his hand though his hair, "I know, he offered to do it a couple of weeks ago, but he seems very busy and i don't want to bug him".
Robyn shrugs a bit sheepishly and puts a hand on Mikhail's shoulder. "I don't know if I deserve it more than anyone else, I mean, everyone deserves something good. And in regards to you hair. I know I like it blue but if you like it better blond and you're more comfortable with it blond than…you should talk to him, get him to do it. He's done it for other kids here."
Mikhail shakes his head, "Yea you do, you're nice to everyone, even horrible people, you're nice to me even when im acting like a dick, theres not a lot of people like you", then nods, "Ok if i see him when hes not busy, i'll ask him".
Robyn blushes quite a bit at that statement and for a while he doesn't know what to say. "…Thanks. Everyone just deserves a chance is all. And I don't think I've ever seen you really act like a dick." He doesn't remember Mikhail being like that, but then it could just be Robyn. "Just, I know that everyone is different and I don't know, maybe it comes from not having many friends before coming here…"
Mikhail shrugs, "I was talking about my temper tantrums, im trying to calm down, i spoke to Lucas the other day without hitting him, i wanted to, but i didn't", that confuses him, Robyn's friends with everyone here, why didn't he have many friends before?
"Lucas is a jerk, but underneath that asshole is sometimes a good guy." Notice Robyn didn't say always is a good guy. "He's going through a tough time and I think that might be part of it. I don't know how I'd react if I knew my mother was dying, but he's good to Rashmi." Even if he's not sure if Lucas has a thing for Dallas or not. "I also think Lucas just wants to be noticed."
Mikhail shrugs, "Well with his attitude he definatly gets noticed, im just gonna ignore him", he point at the boathouse, "This nearly finished?"
Robyn looks at the boathouse and nods. "Yeah, it's been difficult, well for me." Robyn admits but he feels kind of acomplished with the whole thing. "Ignoring people who you don't like is usually for the best. Avoids arguements."
Mikhail looks the boathouse up and down, "It looks very good to me, well done, how long'd it take you?", Robyn sculpts and builts buildings, cool.
"I dunno, it's taken almost two weeks. It's been a lot of Dallas and Lucas telling me what to do and then having to redo what I've screwed up." Robyn says looking at the boat house as well. "I think once we get it painted it'll be done. Though the only reason I wish the demons were still around was so that we wouldn't have to work in the cold." He says with a chuckle.
Mikhail rolls his eyes laughing slightly, "Yes hell on earth is a small price to pay in exchange for warm weather", talking about the demons reminds him of something, "Oh yeah, i might be poisonous".
Robyn laughs harder as Mikhail does as he really wouldn't want the warmer weather for what was going on. "Wait, you might be poisonous? How did you find this out, and why do you think you are?"
Mikhail bites his lip, "The other day me and Owen were working out and i accedently scratched him, after that he started feeling bad so i took him down to the medbay and the doctor said he was poisoned, and that i might have done it".
"Well I bet Hank can help find that out, like what he was doing with Jono last night. Or you can scratch Lucas and see if he gets sick?" Robyn is totally joking about that one by the way. "And really, don't do that, I'm more joking. So, you just have to be careful not to scractch anyone?"
Mikhail nods, "I'm gonna try and see him later, i had no idea i could be poisonous", he leans against the boathouse, "So has Dallas started going easier on himself yet?"
Robyn smiles at the question and nods. "Yeah he has, he's still hard on himself but you can tell he's happier. More like when he first came here. I just think he needed time to adjust to everything. You should pay him a visit, I think he still thinks you're gonna run away at some point."
Mikhail nods, "I'm glad he's doing better, i will stop by and see him at some point", he doesn't comment on the running away thing, hes still undecided on if hes gonna leave or not.
"You should, you know you're a good friend to both of us Mikhail." Robyn says putting a hand on his shoulder and smiling. "If I chould choose three people to have my back at all times, it'd be Jordan, Dallas and you. And I should visit Jono around dinner time."
Mikhail grins, "Ditto, you and Dallas are my two best friends, i trust you guys the most out of everyone", he nods, "Cool, tell him get well from me when you go".
Robyn smile and takes one last look at the boat house. "I should be getting inside, I have one last class of the day. And I'll definately pass that along to Jono. We'll have to plan a day in the city soon Mik." Robyn says patting his friend on the shoulder before heading back to the school.
Mikhail nods, "Cool, sounds good, see ya later", he turns to look across the lake again.
