Westchester - Parker-Mayfair Home - Living Room

While it's not an excessively decorated living room, it does have all the necessities. There is a large comfy-looking blue sofa with a matching loveseat and chair next to it. The three are all angled around a nice large-screen TV with all the accoutrements. The excess decorating has not been done… for a reason. The owner apparently knows someone else will want to do that.

It's almost New Years, and part of Christopher's gift still hadn't arrived before today. Now, it's there and ready. He's already done a few changes while Christopher wasn't paying attention. Getting things moved around. Getting certain things switched. Now, he just has to wait for Christopher to get out of bed and come to the living room. After all, he probably has afternoon appointments today.

Christopher made sure to sleep in today because, well, tonight is New Years and he wants to be able to stay up tonight to celebrate a little. He's actually woken up about thirty minutes ago and is just now rolling out of the bedroom. His hair is still unkempt and he's just wearing his pajama pants, putting them on before leaving the bed room. "Morning Babe." He says with a yawn.

"It's about time you got up. When do you have appointments today?" He asks, grinning brightly. After all, Jeri isn't one for keeping SOME secrets very well. He's simply dancing in his seat, apparently. "And I think we're out of milk. Or something."

"I took the day off, the Salon's closing early, I figured I'd let my staff have time to rest and go off and party." Christopher looks at his watch and seems surprised by the time. "Wow did I sleep, and if we're out of milk why didn't you go get some?" He asks but then he gets a curious expression on his face as the 'or something' click. "What are you up to?"

"Uhm… because I was hoping you'd go get some?" Jeri says with an (yeah right) innocent grin. "Just… because?" He says, trying to figure something out. He looks to Eddie's room. Drat. No eddie. Jared's… again. Sigh.

"Fine, let me go get dressed and I'll run to the store. I needed to do some shopping anyway. I wanted to get some sparkling wine for
tonight and some stuff to make some finger foods." Christopher says running a hand through his hair. "You need anythign else babe?" He figures he'll shower when he gets home, make take a nice relaxing bath.

"Not that I can think of." Of course, Christopher's keys will feel a little off. Something different. But then, that's because Jeri replaced his key and electric key with something else.

Christopher knows Jeri is upto something and as he goes to put on some clothes, he's thinking that while he's gone Jeri is going to be doing something. What, he's not sure. "Is there a certain amount of time I should be gone, or is about twenty minutes fine?" He says as he opens the front door.

"Oh, however long as you want." Jeri says with a bright grin. "I have a feeling you'll be back pretty quickly."There's not much else he can say, but it's written on his face. As if Christopher didn't already know.

Christopher just shakes his head and leans in for a kiss. "Alright, you just better have a pot of coffee ready when I get back love." He says as he heads outside to his car shaking his head with amusement.

His old car isn't there. It's a different car. Big red Bow. The whole nine yards. Keyless entry. Avalon. Limited Edition. 2010. Hybrid. Yay. And color, well, that doesn't matter. It's Christopher. Heated Leather seats. Jeri simply sits where he is. Waiting.

"Babe….where's my…." Christopher doesn't finish he sentence as everything clicks in his head. Even before Trey dented the hood of his car he was in need of a better one. He hurries back inside and start laughing. "You got me a car for Christmas, I knew you were up to something but my thinking was way off. You're amazing, you know that?" He says going to wrap his arms around Jer.

"I try." Jeri grins brightly as he winks. "I thought that would work out for the best. And Avalons are good. I had one for a while." He chuckles, returning the hug. "I was just waiting for it to arrive. The Limited Editions take a while to arrive."

"Yeah, now I don't have to get the car fixed, well I should if I want to sell it or anything." Christopher says leaning against Jeri's chest. "The car is perfect and I always liked Toyota, they're dependable. I might have to give her a name since she's such a nice car, and now I don't have to run out to the store till a bit later." He says chuckling.

"Nah, we've got everything we need. I was just trying to push you out there." Jeri laughs softly. "And yes, they are dependable. I've always appreciated them. And this one… it's their flagship. You don't deserve anything less than the best they can offer."

"Well I still do want to hit a liquor store, if Edde, Jared, Ricky and Wesley want to hang out here, I don't mind. I just want to get a bottle of something bubbly." Christopher says as Jeri would know his weakness with some alcohols, not that he abuses it, just that he enjoys it. "You spoil me too much Jeri, but I do love it. I can't wait to take it for a test drive."

"It's all good to me. I don't mind the kids at all." Jeri says with a chuckle. "Especially since one will be leaving for New York, soon." He says with a nod. "I don't spoil you. You deserve it." He says with a firm nod.

"Well you deserve the best too Jeri, you are truely amazing." Christopher says as he does like the man whose his husband. "So, I have some time before I have to hit the craziness that is the Grocery Store and Liquor Store, so how about you and I hit the hot tub for a bit and relax before we're up all night?"

"You're on." Jeri laughs. "It's the best season for it, after all!" He grins, rising and carrying Christopher with him.
