Xavier Mansion - Medical Bay

The Medical Bay contains the latest medical equipment to patch up students and X-Men with the smallest and worst injuries. Six beds line the walls for injured patients. Equipment lines the walls, medicine in the cabinets, and more serious medical supplies locked in cabinets. One this about this room it screams sterilization.

Back in the medbay. Robyn's not exactly happy to be back here, but at least this time he knows he'll be good to go by the afternoon. Thank goodness for Alien tech? He's lying on his stomach on one of the beds, shirt off, and bandages on his shoulders. They way he's lying on the bed shows he's bored as his feet are by the pillow and he's dangling his arms off the end of the bed. "I just wanna get outta here." He says to one of the alien machines, knowing it can't hear him.

Dallas heard Robyn is in the medbay, of course, with the school rumor mill being what it is. He arrives just in time to hear that and says, as he walks towards the bed, "Well, why don't we spring you out of here? You fit for a jailbreak yet?" His tone that particularly bright and cheerful one that people use around people who are injured and they don't want to make a big deal out of it for the sake of the patient.

Robyn looks up and smiles. "Oh god yes." He says laughing as he shifts, with a small wince, to sit up. "Owen went all crazy bat. I always wanted to see his bat form, but not like that." He goes to slide off of the bed and looks around. "I need real clothes though, or Xavier's stuff. My shirt got all torn up. Owen grabbed me by my shoulders and the claws just dug in."

Dallas winces. "Ouch. Bat boy needs a padded room or something for that time of the month." He looks around and eventually finds a set of Xavier sweats that are going to be too baggy and long on Robyn but should get him to his room. He brings them back over to the bed and turns his back so Robyn can change with modesty. "Anybody else hurt?"

"Yeah, that Cloud kid was there, he got bitten." Robyn says taking the pants and putting them on under the gown. "Man, whose were these? Zack's?" Robyn's not a large guy but he's nearing 6', so the fact that they're long makes him chuckle. "I dunno, he seemed to not know it was coming, even though he was leaking that stuff. But when I stabbed the bat with a psi-blade, which I really have to remember I can create them, he went back to normal, only in his mind. He's still The Bat."

Dallas blinks at that. "Wow. That's going to be weird in class. Do we know if it's permanent or what?" And on the topic of the sweats, "Probably Colossus or something. Or Bishop. Or any of the man-mountain X-Men." He turns back around, figuring by context that Robyn must have put on the sweat pants and levers himself up to sit on one of the tables. "So, I had a talk with Mikhail this morning about not being up Lucas unless he really has to."

Robyn laughs at the image of wearing Colossus's pants. "I don't know what's going with Owen, if it's permanent or not. I should find him though and see if he's okay." Then as the subject turns to Mikhail Robyn nods. "He's..I don't know. I'm kind of worried about him Dallas, but at the same time, I don't know if I want to be friends with him anymore. I don't know if he has a sense of right or wrong, or if he cares to learn it. He seems to think that lying is everything."

Dallas shrugs and says, "Well, I helped teach him that." He sounds faintly guilty at that. But then again, Dallas is pretty well convinced that he bears responsibility for everything that happens around him. "I don't want to count him out just because he's going through some weird phase like becoming a punk or deciding to be vegan or something. But he does want to leave the school and that bugs me. He won't let me change his mind."

Robyn shakes his head. "No, it's not your fault. I just don't think he understands the difference between Television and Real Life. I wish I knew what to do to help but he does't seem to care. I dunno." Robyn says with a sigh. He doesn't really think it was Dallas just more television. "I didn't know he was leaving, he didn't say anything to me about it. He hasn't been the same since the whole…demon thing."

Dallas nods and shrugs slightly, "Who has?" It was a pretty rough time for all of them, Robyn above all, really. Dallas lays back on the exam table and puts his hands behind his head, stretching out and saying, "And yea, he's mentioned it a couple of times now. I guess he just feels like he needs to find out who he is and all that. Which is fair. I just wish he could do it here."

"I'm doing a lot better? I still have a few bumps to work out that Dr. Parker-Mayfair and Jordan are helping me with. I don't want to go home, for good, anymore." Robyn says sitting back up on his med-bed. "I hope he doesn't leave, I haven't really heard him mention it but a few people freaked when I was was going to my parents and thought I was leaving for good." He gives an eyeroll at that. "Oh and that question you asked me, about being wrong about Lucas. At first I thought there might be a good guy under that, but then I realized, he's just a hypocritical ass."

Dallas sits up himself and says, "Well, I was worried too. Especially with the 'note and run' treatment you pulled. But you know, in a way, that worked out really well for me. So in a weird way I should thank you." And then he tilts his head at that bit about Lucas. "Wait. Is knowing going to make me unable to work with him to get that stupid boathouse done?"

Robyn bites his lip and looks down. "Sorry about that, I just felt like I couldn't take it here. I really didn't tell Dr. Parker-Mayfair your plans, I was just scared I was going to lose someone else I cared about. It's passed now, and all is good." Robyn says smiling for the most part. "And you know, maybe you should, so, I'll be waiting." He says teasing about the 'Thank you'. "No, cause I think you already knew it Dallas. He's not all bad, he just has this weird obsession with your or something. It's like he's mad at you for being in the closet cause he is and he really wants you or something, I dunno. Who I really feel bad for is Rashmi when he breaks her heart."

Dallas shrugs and says, "When I said it worked out for the best I mean it. I'm not going to get on your case for doing something that worked out." He grins and says, "Thanks. Jerk. Happy now?" He grimaces at the thought of Lucas having some kind of obsession with him and shakes his head. "God, I hope not. I think he was just screwing me because he saw I was vulnerable to it. The guy's a classic bully type. And I'm done wasting headspace on worrying about him. I think we're at neutral again and that's just how I want to keep it. Keeps him where I can keep in eye on him, rather than out there blowing up stuff and causing trouble for other mutants and maybe I can convince a few people that have been told I'm nuts or something that it isn't true."

Robyn doesn't fully get why Lucas choose Dallas, bullies usually don't pick the cool guys, the popular guys, the jocks to pick on. They usually choose people like him. "You're not nuts, you're worried cause the guy is…seriously messed up." And Robyn leaves it at that. "And yes, I am happy now." He says smiling with a laugh. "So I thought you were breaking me out of here, not taking a nap."

Dallas laughs and says, "Not my fault you're slow. Had to take a nap while you were making up your mind." His tone and expression are teasing at that." He hops off the table and starts to lead Robyn out. "We can probably still catch lunch or something before afternoon classes." And then a moment later, "We just have to keep you away from batboy, who apparently finds you delicious or something."

"Yeah, there's really no where to run in the gym when a huge bat monster is in between you and the door and your back is against the wall." Robyn says with a smile. "Also I have to remember about the psi-weapons earlier, not as a panic reaction. I really have to get better with using them." Then again Robyn isn't built or trained for hand to hand combat. "And I'll be down there to try to help with the boat house, I just want it done."

Dallas considers that. "More practice. I'll help if you want. And yea, I have /much/ better ways to be spending my free time than working on this crap for a guy who probably never even sees the sun. And is touchy like a little girl." A pause and then, "Hm. You don't think he was listening to that, do you? In which case, 'Just kidding'. Really." He sticks his head out into the hall and then holds the door open for Robyn. "Ok, let's make a getaway before somebody comes in and puts you back to bed."

Robyn shakes his head. "Addison really isn't that bad, he's helped me with all sorts of powers training." Robyn just gets along with him as Addison's been his teacher for a while. "And he was the one to mentally shield me from Nathaniel's emotion control." He points out before he heads out of the medbay, happy that noone is around. "Let's go see what they got to eat today."
