=Xavier Mansion - Emma Frost's Office
Miss Frost's office is not as white as one would expect, however it does present an overall theme in the room. Using a classic den/office style structure from the building, the hardwood floor has been mostly covered from entry to desk with a white carpet that has been decorative bordered in an ivy-pattern, with the center having a delicately done floral arrangement. Two plush white leather chairs sit slightly staggered and angled facing a white marble topped desk of dark-stained oak, the Xavier Academy logo in front emblazoned in a polished steel. Atop the desk is materials for physical writing as well as a dual-monitor computer system that seems keyboardless, instead having a single mouse-like interface device. To the right are a pair of striated white marble book-cases filled from top to bottom, in the center of the pair a marble fireplace that burns sedately despite the time or season.
The left wall has a series of file cabinets sitting next to another computer desk, this one with a standard keyboard and mouse with the academy logo floating sedately on the screen. Next to those is a table where mail seems to be laid out next to a carafe of what is either coffee or tea, and a small pile of cookies, which seems to vary day by day. Behind the carafe is a small containers for sugar, fresh cream, and honey.
Behind the desk is a bank of windows facing northwards, running practically from wall to wall, bordered on both sides by silver-embroidered sheer silk cloth, so even when drawn you can make out details outside, and so long as day is present, line pours in to give the room a sense of warmth. For the times when more light is required, it comes from the vaulted office ceiling from a tasteful-looking light and fan combination. Just behind the desk and on the right side is a second door with a hand-print scanner.
It's been a few days since the MGH lab raid and Vinny has sent word that he's got some new news to share with the Xavier headmistress but didn't want to do so over the phone. Having arrived on the school grounds about an hour later he's been shown into Emma's office.
Once more, the paperwork is in neat stacks on her marble desk, but is currently being ignored by Emma while she is currently putting together a sandwich of sorts. As the presence approaches the door, she touches a control in her pocket, and the door opens just as Vinny approaches and her voice says softly, "Come in…"
Vinny smiles as he steps into the room. "G'day Miss Frost. Sorry bout makin' ya wait till I got here, but I didn't wanna use tha phone for this. There's been a very recent developments and thing might be gettin' interestin' rather soon."
Emma shakes her head as she finishes up the sandwich, and the moves over to her desk and picks up a slender flash drive, "Just as you have something for me, I have something for you, Vincent… I believe it will be most enlightening with whomever you're working with… but first… what was it you brought to me today?"
Vinny nods "Well I got a few things actually. Two days ago I went went back ta tha lab we raided with two avengers, Quicksilver and Iron man. Since we left in a bit of a hurry I figured a second look wouldn't hurt. Place was cleaned out when we got there, though a few tubes were left and other damaged equipment. Iron Man also found an empty Kick Inhaler on the lower level. At first they seemed ready to accuse me of usin' tha stuff.. or suspected my "partner" was on it. Guess they thought I was workin' with Dingo since I helped him during the police corruption problems. I'm guessin' they must've grabbed an NMO guy during the attack on the rally, that's where the kick might've come from. No way ta be sure."
"Alternately,", Emma replies, "One of Dingo's people from those who were left of the Kick Dealers could have gone into the place to raid it… unfortunately, what they need was not present… I saw to that." Finishing constructing her meal, she motions for you to take your own if you like, and the moves to one side before adding, "Curiouser and Curiouser… what's strange about this is that all three mutant narcotics came into New York at the same time… but at three different directions. Here… a copy of what my forensic programmer obtained…"

Entry Number One - After fourteen failures and twenty eight dead mutants, strand number fifteen was successful. Through much trial and error the new strain of MGH seems to be successful so far. The ability to give not just humans powers but mutants as well seems to be a major break through. We've gotten a large supply of DNA from various mutants and we don't even have to kidnap that many individuals to do so. We are finding just a vial of mutant blood can go a long way.

(There are pictures of the six listed and they are all recognized members of the New Mutant Order. Birthdays, blood types and medical information are included for all of them.)
We have been told that these six will be perfect for the next phase of our experiments since they are already under the influence of Hypercortisone-D, aka Kick.

Other information - There are the locations of two other warehouses, one in Queens and one in the Bronx. There is also a lot of references to three other doctors in regards to the research - Dr. Mamata Patel, Dr. Clayton Woods and Dr. Quinton Jackson.
Vinny looks at the information and grimaces "Oh Bloody hell, there guys are usin' Kick boosted Mutant blood ta make the new MGH? That can't be good.. I told Iron man about Doc Simmons, I might hafta pass these names on too.. he can act in ways we can't. The warehouses however.. those are our problem." He doesn't touch the food, just taking a seat. "Ok issue #2, Magneto is now up to date on tha going's on in town. Figured I'd best visit the embassy since we dumped off sixteen drugged-up captives the night before. From his reaction he wants us to keep after tha drug angle while he handles tha 'political' stuff. I'm thinkin' he's gonna publicly denounce the NMO and close tha embassy ta them. Given that Dingo is usin' his name to rally those clown it's likely put tha two in direct conflict.
After a couple bites of her own sandwich are taken, and then set to the side on a place, Emma rubs at her temples and then takes a deep breath, "To be honest, Vincent… I am running the edges of my authority here. I have a campus to protect, and a school to run. This leaves me less time to pursue this than I would like. What we need is an expert. Someone who has dealt with the drug trade before, and knows how these things work. Unfortunately… I do not know any."
Vinny nods "Well that's why I went ta talk ta Iron Man, figured ya couldn't do much more without riskin' somthin' big. I'll keep at this but I wanted ta keep ya informed. Now for somthin' ya need ta hear, ya got a student actively still usin' kick on Campus. Robin went ta mutant town about a week ago an got a fresh inhaler from someone she knew."
That causes a rather heated reaction from the woman, her brows furrowing as for a moment her eyes go cold, "She did… did she. This will mean she no longer is covered under the statutes I put in place… this is going to be unfortunate for her…" But after Emma speaks, she looks up to Vinny, and waves it off, "That is a matter of school discipline, and what I'd asked of you… nothing more. And I thank you. We should discuss your fee while you're here…"
Vinny chuckles "Not done yet, got one more bit of news.. I got a phone number for tha Kick Dealer Kyle. Now I can't use it cause he'd get suspicious, BUT.. ya got a student he's met before, and sounds like she could use a way ta get back inta yer good graces. Robin calls him and lures him out, then we need tha wanker and you can do the mind basher on his noggin' and find out where this crap's comin' from."
Emma looses a small hmmm as her hand comes up and rubs along her chin a moment, "Perhaps… but the fact that she broke the rules still needs to be dealt with. I cannot have her feeling that doing this would be some sort of redemption for her act. We have doctors, an on-staff psychologist, and myself… but that is meaningless in the face of being a teenager." Sighing once, she then takes a step towards the fireplace, "Allright, take that to Magneto, and let him examine the data… if he wishes the original hard-drive, I can provide it. But the problem is, so far… none of this is admissible in court. So this will all have to be in-house, and that means we need to be careful." Her course changes to ravel around the desk where she settles in and looks to the platypus, "Is there any more?"
Vinny shakes his head "That's all I got, course I figured that was plenty. Now Iron man might be better ta show this too than Magneto. Mags is powerful but he's limited in what he can do.. Avengers on tha other hand. But I'll give a copy to mags and another to Stark and that jackass Speedy Gonzales.. somone's gotta get lucky and catch these bastards."
Emma shakes her head, "I trust Tony to be Tony… which is to say, he will do what benefits himself more than anything else… it's only when those interests coincide with our own does it matter. That or you have a figure like mine enough that he desires to keep your attention." A small smirk playing on her lips before she then adds, "But ultimately, the choice is yours, Vincent… so far as I can see, this is your investigation, on all our behalfs. I believe this should cover expenses for a while." And Emma scribbles out a check to Vinny from a large book. Whatever it is, there are 4 zeroes before the dot!
Vinny nods "Well he's not my type so I doubt my figure's got anything ta do with it." He looks at the check and whistles low "Well definitely my thanks to ya Miss Frost. If ya ever need help in tha future feel free ta give me a call."
Emma replies with a slight grin, "The sooner this is done, the better off we'll all be… and then I can find much more mundane things for you to do, Vincent… but you are definitely one to keep an eye on. You are calm, capable, and willing. Traits I appreciate in people of all stripe."
Vinny nods "Well thank you for the compliments Miss Frost, though this whole thing is workin' my last good nerve so I'm not sure how much calm I got left." He stands from the chair and tips his hate Politely "I'll leave ya to yer work Miss Frost, got papers ta do an a student ta deal with. I'm easy ta find if ya need me."
