Xavier Mansion - Daisuke and Jared's Room
The room is fairly neat with both beds usually made. Jared's side of the room is practically spotless and everything has it's place though it doesn't look like he has much in regards of dcor except for a yoga mat by his bed and a Wonder Man poster on the wall. Daisuke's side is a bit more cluttered but still neat as he has a few drawing pads piled up on his desk along with his art supplies along with a few pictures taped on the wall. A drum pad sits folded up at the end of his bed. The room looks lived in but not overly cluttered.
After a long session in the music room, practicing the drums, followed by a shower, Daisuke is now in his room relaxing for the night. He doesn't have anything to do and Jared is with his Dads for the night. He's just in a pair of jammie pants at the moment pondering if he should try drawing for a bit. Loud music can be heard playing through the door. Daisuke always did like his loud japanese rock music.
And it's the loud Japanese rock music that lets Skyler know that his friend happens to by in when he's walking to his own room. Decided to stop in for a visit he knocks on the door, loud enough to be heard over the music. "Dai? It's Sky. Want some company?"
Daisuke grins as he hears Skyler's voice and lowers the music before going to the door. "Skyler! Hey, come on in, sorry I gotta put a shirt on." Skyler would notice that most of Dai's scars are gone except for the worse ones which have been significantly healed more than they were. "How's it going? I was just relaxing for a bit, not really sure what to do for the night."
"Shirtless," comments Skyler with a hint of amusement. "That's a very bold fashion statement coming from you." He follows his friend into the room and closes the door behind him. "Enh. Doing things is sometimes overrated."
Daisuke blushes a bit as he grabs a tshirt and throws it on. "Sorry, I was just relaxing and just got out of the shower. Also…I'm not as embarassed now that Jared healed most of my scars I don't look horrible." He shrugs. "I know, but I don't have much to do lately so I like having things to do. So what's been new with you Skyler, I think it's been forever since we caught up with eachother."
SKyler throws himself uninvited on Dai's bed chuckling. "I never thought the scars were all that bad, really, but I know what they represent." He leans up on his elbows and quirks a grin. "Well, I guess the big news is that I'm dating, now."
Daisuke throws himself down on his bed next to Skyler, after all Dai is very close to Sky and they are best friends. "I always thought they were bad but it helped me bury the past so it's not a constant reminder." In fact Dai's progressed a lot emotionally. "You're dating? Who? That's awesome Skyler." He says eager to hear more from his friend.
Skyler nods enthusiastically, "Yes. Robin. With the 'i'. And the puppet. She's… I don't know. Strangely compatible with how I am."
"I think I've met Robin, with an 'i', before. That's awesome Skyler." Daisuke says giving his friend a hug. "You deserve to be happy, and have someone compatible with who you are, not like there is anything wrong with you." Daisuke has never had any issues with Skyler. "Even if you do look like Eddie right now, which is funny cause it's like two best friends who are pretty much brothers to me are twins."
Skyler grins sheepishly at that. "Yeah. I mean, when I'm into girls, she's a girl. When I'm into boys, she's got… you know…. boy bits. It's easy for me to not have to worry about that aspect of things with her, you know?'
Daisuke can't help but chuckle at that. "I guess that works great for you then. I'm really happy for you." He's sincere about it and the smile on his face reflects on it. "I just kind of swing both ways I guess, I never realized it till I met Jared but..isn't it nice having someone in that sense. I mean it's great having friends but..you know what I mean." Dai says blushing slightly.
"Well, yeah," admits Skyler. "Though we haven't, you know, done anything yet." He blushes furiously at that confession. "I'm still kind of, I don't know, not really interested in going that far, but if it happens it happens."
Daisuke blushes as well, but then he's easy to blush. "It doesn't matter about going that far, it's not that important. I mean Jared and I…but..then…I wasn't exactly a…ya know." He says his cheeks turning quite pink. "But that's not the important part of a relationship, it really isn't."
Skyler just laughs heartily at Daisuke. "I'm no virgin myself," he admits. "And, in fact, I'm pretty sure I'm a father." He lets that bomb drop with a wicked girn.
"Wait…what?" Daisuke says sounding confused. He's not sure what Skyler means by that. "When did you…and with who? And how old were you?" He's completely taken back by that but yet he's curious. "I've known you how long and you're just telling me this?"
Skyler's wicked grin deepens. "Think about it. What was I when we first met?"
Daisuke thinks about it for a while and goes back to when the first met and then it comes to him. "Dusty! You were a cat…oh man…that's…wow." He doesn't even know how to word it correctly with out it sounding rude. "Awww, you so you have you're own little Skyler kittens somewhere."
Skyler nods at his friend, laughing. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I do. Cats aren't known for their use of birth control."
Daisuke can't help but chuckle and shake his head. "That's really weird and I guess not. But then I've never had a cat, let alone any pet, so I don't know their safe sex habits." He says joking around. "So does Robin know you're a father, and how does she feel about being the girlfriend of these kitten's daddy?"
Skyler shakes his head. "I haven't told her yet. It's just not something that comes up in casual conversation." With another chuckle he says, "Well, it's not like I'm going to be paying alimony for them or anything."
Daisuke chuckles and nods. "I know, I'm just playing around but I think you know that. So, when are you and I gonna hit a movie and dinner sometime, maybe we can make it a sort of double date, you, me, Jared and Robin, could be fun. I miss hanging out with you."
Skyler looks thoughtful. "I've been meaning to take Robin out to see a play. She's never actually been to one, so I've been trying to decide what to expose her to first."
"I dunno, there are quite a few good ones out there. That's something you two should do together unless you want to go to a play as a double date." Daisuke says, he doesn't mind but he doesn't want to seem like he's intruding on Skyler's significant other time. "But there are some good plays out there and some good places to eat."
Skyler nods at that. "I know. I took her out to eat at the Olive Garden the other day Nice, you know, but not dress-up nice. It seemed like a good first date kind of thing."
"I wouldn't think you would want dress up nice for a first date." Daisuke says but then again he doesn't know a whole lot about dating as Jared is his first significant other. "But then I'm not really one for dressing up. Sure I'll wear ties but not in a nice dressy sort of way."
