History
His history varies on the stories he may tell. The truth though…
Hours passed and the uniforms had left, leaving with them a path of destruction inside of Chris with news of his parents being robbed and gunned down. "What did they do to deserve it?" the uniforms told him Marvin faught and knocked one unconscious, only to be shot down . "Why didn't you just let them have everything? I could have gotten you more.."
The hurt was visible even at work, but there was something knew in all the comfort he gained from his co-workers. It seemed like distrust as they started to look over his paperwork thoroughly now. Chris got a little suspicious, but blew it off as they might believe he was making mistakes out of stress from his situation.. But then a month later he seen what he was hoping not to see. Two men in suits came in and flashed what looked like badges from where he was sitting, asking to talk to his supervisor. His friend and co-worker Bobby came in and looked at Chris with a scared and sort of angry look. "Are you a mutant?" he asked bluntly. And Chris knew the jig was up. He jumped up and frowned, shaking his head. "No. And that's what you tell them. I'm taking my lunch break. Tell the boss I'm sorry" .. Bobby knew then that he wasn't going to see Chris again.. It all happened so fast, so suddenly, and so precisely. When they questioned Bobby they asked if they seen Chris with more money recently.. He told them what they didn't want to hear….
Christopher moved fast when he reached his apartment. He had to get out, to not get caught. If he wasn't around, they couldn't do anything. But where would he go? Anywhere would be possible with his tactic, but they might just follow the pretty paper road after hours. He could put enough concentration in to make it last for days, so he could cover a plane ride.. but to where? His suitcase was packed with clothes and he was scanning through his old files when the Xavier brochure dropped down onto the floor and he smiled slightly. "Whenever I need a place to go?". He set up his laptop, looked at the time. Chris had his plan set to fly to Europe already. Get out of Texas at least temporarily until things went over. He had probably an hour before anyone came to his apartment looking for him.. He adorned the headset for his computer-phone and He began to dial the number..
Timeline
Saturday, June 20, 2009. Christopher has arrived in New York, cellphone in hand and waiting patiently for anything to beckon him. Walking the streets of New York and using his talent to survive for the time being.
