History
Little is known of Dr. Destiny's background. Few even know her real name (Rebecca Tremblay). However, lately, she has started, with a vengeance, working on her genetics studies, by practicing on living humans.
But for those who want to know…
Dr. Tremblay has always been a talented woman. She is an amazing genetecist, on par with Xavier, MacTaggart, and Essex. However, unlike any of them, her line has carried no semblance to an X-Gene. This has caused her no end of annoyance. Through years of research, and secret experiments, she's moved onto human trials for her experiments.
The main reason she's doing this is because she wants abilities. She doesn't want abilities that can be taken away from her, like a mutant's powers. She wants something much more than that.
She sees no wrong in what she's doing, even though she does it without permission, and has taken lives in the process. She is a scientist and sees things from a scientist's perspective. She's trying to advance humanity by activating their own evolution through force.
At the moment, she works alone and in secret. She funds things on her own. However, she has contacts in the most unlikely of places who give her things she needs to work with. She keeps her base moving, leaving it in one place for no more than a week at a time.
When she changes someone, she may ask them to do things for her (wear a monitor for one month, collect samples of others DNA (with permission if they'd like)) to further her studies. When she gets it down right, she plans to change herself.
