History
As a baby, Richard was one of two twins given up for adoption. The result of a lie that their father had promised their mother. Since the two were so young, they were adopted out separately.
As he grew older, Richard developed powers, but given their nature and the fact his parents told him he was adopted. He soon came to the conclusion that he was alien born. Due to othe encouragement of a certain psychologist, Richard's parents sent him to Xavier's.
