NYC - Union Square

Always bustling with life is Union Square, with its large statue of George Washington standing in the center. Live music, dancers, artists, activists, vendors, and more can all be seen here on a daily basis. There are even some tables set up for chess games. The Green Market can be found here, selling fresh fruit, breads, vegetables and other farm products. Union Square has more of a younger feel as most the kids who hang out here have that artistic, indie look to them, making Union Square one of the more open minded parks in the city.

It's been a busy past couple of days for She-Hulk since the ARMS had arrived in this dimension. She's been out to the Xavier Mansion to enlist their aid in finding their brother, and on the way back she's been out gathering some supplies for the visitors. Of course, it's hard to shop when the stores are occasionally visited by rampaging demons. Still, undaunted, she got her shopping done, and is now at the hotel room where she holed up the three strange visitors and is knocking on the door politely.

Quintessa was sitting at the table, one of her guns dismantled as she was actually taking her time cleaning it. Streatching out the time it took so she can kill time. As there is a knock on the door, Tes grabs her other gun and slams a cartrige into it. She walks cautiously to the door and quickly swings it open, and pointing it at She-Hulk. "Oh, it's you." She says steping aside. "It's mandatory to stay safe with the demons out there." She learned about the demons today from Quicksilver.

Considering that there's quite a large amount of ichor covering She-Hulk, it looks like she knows all about the demons out there. Of course, seeing the woman herself is kind of difficult because she's loaded up with boxes and packages. "Yes, it is," she agrees making her way into the hotel room and drops what she's carrying on the bed. "I figured the three of you are going to be staying here for a while, so I took the liberty to go and buy a few clothes to help you blend in."

Quintessa reaches out to touch some of the ichor and brings it up to her nose and sniffs it, making quite the 'yucky' face. "What is wrong with my clothes?" She says looking down at the black outfit she's been wearing since yesterday. "And with blending in? Like how Shiro blends in?"

"Yes and no," answers She-Hulk, as she heads towards the bathroom, peeling off her gunkified civilian clothes to reveal her skin tight avengers costume underneath. "God," she mutters to herself, "I'm going to have to burn this." Once inside the bathroom she grabs one of the towels there and tries to wipe off as much of the ichor as she can. "Think it of more of social camoflage," she says, her voice echoing out from the bathroom. "If you look and act like you belong someplace, everybody will believe that you do."

Quintessa nods slowly and starts to look through the boxes, holding up some of the clothing. She takes a random shirt and pair of pants, not sure if they are made for boys or girls. "Should I put these on now?" She asks smelling them as they have that odd new clothes smell that she's not used to. "That stuff on you smells really bad She-Hulk."

Jennifer wrinkles her nose in disgust as the all the towling does is just smear the ichor around. "I know," she says despondently. "I think I'm going to take a shower to get all this off." She pokes her head out of the bathroom to see what she's holding up and says, "No, that's for Najji. Yours are in the pink boxes." With that she gently closes the door and starts her shower, letting Tess to her own devices with the clothes.

Quintessa wrinkles her nose at the word pink and then goes to start looking through them. She shrugs as Jennifer closes the door and starts to get undressed. She stands there naked, looking at all the clothes. She tries on a few things but then takes them off immediately. This goes on for quiet sometime so by the time She-Hulk comes out, she's looking at a bra with a very confused expression.

When She-Hulk emerges from the bathroom, a gout of steam escapes with her, and she's still toweling her head (this time with a clean towel.) Her uniform is back on, which is more than can be said about Quintessa, who she finds standing in the middle of the room, bare-ass naked, and eyeing a bra. "I take it you've never seen one of those before," asks the giant green woman with a healthy amount of sympathy.

Quintessa looks over at She-Hulk, apparently not embarrassed at all. "What is this? It looks like a weird kind of sling shot." She says as she tries to hold in a way where it might work as a sling shot. "Do you need two people to work it?" She isn't quite sure.

Jennifer's laughter is well natured at heart. "No, honey, that's a bra. You put it on to keep these," she says holding up her ample bosom "from flopping around when you're wearing loose clothing." Once she's done with the towel, she tosses it back into the bathroom, and walks up to the girl, taking the undergarment from here. "Let me put it on you…"

Quintessa nods as she's never has a problem with her boobs flopping around but then she's usually in her training uniform. "Okay. So do boys have to wear these too?" No boys don't have boobs but she's not really sure. The difference between male and female is so blurred to her.

Jennifer laughs again, as she helps Quintessa into the bra. "No, boys don't have to wear these as well." She takes a moment to adjust the straps to be a bit more comfortable and steps back. "There we go, that's better."

Quintessa makes a few motions like it's uncomfortable and then goes to getting dressed. She can't help but be a little girly and go look at herself in the mirror. "So this is what people wear? And this is what I should wear?" She says figuring she'll get to the food when her brothers are here. "I got some canned food today and learned that if you heat it in the can, it explodes!"

Jennifer gives Quintessa a considering look before going back to the pile and handing the girl some clothes that she should wear. She looks like she's about to ask something, but then reconsiders, instead asking, "Where are your brothers?"

"Recon, exploring. I did that earlier, ran into someone named Quicksilver, he's really fast." She says moving some of the boxes around before sitting down. "They'll be back." She looks at She-Hulk and picks up her two guns. "I need ammo for these." Which looking at them, the design is familiar on the glock and baretta but..off, more advanced than anything around today.

Jennifer looks hesitant before she answers. "Normally, I wouldn't agree with you. The demons, however…" She shakes her head. "What are your powers?"

Quintessa looks at Jennifer and furries her brow. "Powers?" She tries to think and then starts to scratch at her skin as if it's triggering something. "I can..regenerate and…I know guns. I was artilery." She says with a shrug as she walks over to the bathroom. "I should get clean. Thank you for clothing." She says as she starts to strip down and get into the shower without bothering to close the door. Apparently privacy is something she isn't familar with.

Jennifer watches Quintessa shower for a minute or two, scowling. This is not good, she thinks. Genetically engineered mutant soldiers who are the social equivalents of five year olds is not good. She turns to let herself out and hopes that Scott will contact her soon. His team is far better equipped to handle this than she is.
