Xavier Mansion - Quad

There is a square side walk of pavement with a nice grassy area in the middle with a few stone benches and trees along the corners. The pavement leads to the paths to the grounds of the school, the Dining Hall in Xavier's and the Ramsey Dormitories. It's not particularly large but it's a nice place for students and teachers to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

It's been a few days since the Medbay explosion and just as many since James was outed as Selene. It's not well known what has happened since then, but what 'is' known is that tonight she's sitting out in the grass of the quad. Leaning back with her arms outstretched for support, she idly watches the sky, every now and again smirking as students make a wide path around the hyena's body she's still inhabiting.

Since Kenta is James's squad leader, he had heard from Lucas and the school. He's seen the Hyena lying outside and decided to come pay a bit of a visit. Walking over to James, he stands over her, lights a cigarette, and takes a long drag before saying anything. "Yo. So, I hear you've decided to take a room for rent inside of one of my students noggins."

Selene smirks up at Kenta, offering no more than a tilt of the creature's head before saying, "It's only rent if you've worked out some form of payment. I believe 'squatting' is more accurate." The following look, the very one she's been giving everyone since her discovery, says it all, 'and what are you going to do about it?' "I expected a visit from you. I think you're the only one of his friends not in the hospital."

"I'll take that as a compliment." Kenta says taking another drag. "I don't know about friends but he's one of my students and well, you can say it's a personal interest. I'm just regretful that I was too thick headed to listen to what Lucas was trying to tell me." He admits it went right over his head. He sits down on the grass cross legged in front of James and just watches her. "So, let's see….can you evict a squatter?"

Selene leans forward sitting up before reaching out, "Mind sharing that?" To the rest she adds, "It's not eviction that's the issue, Kenta. It's doing so without harming the property—or giving the squatter reason to do so. Which is why I'm out here, and not in one of your holding cells. Hank was not sure if using a dampener on me would harm James." She nods over to a camera, "So, for now, I have my own personal escorts." All of them, from the looks of it as every single camera is focused on this spot. "But, now I'm curious. Do you have an idea on how to get me home?"

Kenta looks at his cigarette and then reaches open a metal case and flicking it open, offering a hand rolled cigarette if Selene wants to take one. "Honestly, I don't. But I want to make sure James is safe. Somehow I don't think stabbing you and draining your life force will do anything, it'll more hurt James so that is out of the question." He takes a drag off his cigarette and thinks. "So, to get you home, do you have an address?"?

Selene takes one and leans in, waiting for a light. Only after that and a long drag does she respond, "That is, assuming there's even a James left." She holds up a hand as if to stop the teacher's thought process, moving with a grace James couldn't equal, "I am not the bad guy here. I did not 'try' to end up like this. Yes…I had been in communication for months, but 'this' was not part of the plan. We can all thank Ahab for that." As for the address part she answers casually, "I believe my body is still in the sub basement of the Hellfire Club." Along with all the other insects.

"Well, I like to hope that James is still in there, deep down. And I'd like to try to save him." Kenta says as he puts his lighter away. "Well have I attacked you yet? Nope. I just want my student back is all and want a solution. So what is we that we have to do? I think we need to get to this Hellfire Club, get into the basement and get your body. Then once we have your place of residence, we can go from there."

That smirk returns so the hyena's muzzle, "I was well on my way to returning. But, Xavier's had issues with human sacrifice. Imagine my surprise." The look, however, falters just a little, "I should not be here, Kenta. I should have been able to return myself. What ever happened in the park with Ahab locked me here at least temporarily. I want out as much as you want me out. As a like mind, maybe we can strike a deal."

Kenta gives Selene a look of mock surprise. "Wow, I'm shocked by that Selene. No human sacrifice, what were they thinking?" Voice thick with sarcasm as he 'tsks' and shakes his head. "Make a deal? Well, what's this deal you have in mind?"

JameSelene shrugs, "Well, it would seem natural that having my body on hand would be advantageous to getting me home. But…no one is going to allow us just to wonder into the basement—or through the front door." Another drag, another exhale of smoke, "But, that requires me being allowed off grounds. Something I don't foresee anyone agreeing to."

"Then we break in." Kenta says as if it's simple as that. "Wait till night, break in, get your body. Then you can have your own place back and James his and we can be fine and dandy. What do you think Selene? You willing to try to get your body back or you going to sit there as a teenage hyena and just whine that you're stuck?"

Selene raises an eye ridge, "Whine, Kenta? On the contrary. I quite enjoy where I am at the moment. In all honesty, I find it quite entertaining. I'll be replaying the look of fear on his friend’s faces in my mind for yeas to come. Had it gone a little differently it might have been able to add your face to that list. Possibly your family." There's a displayed challenge as the hyena's teeth are shown to the teacher. But she leaves it at that.

There's a glare at Selene. "You're lucky it went differently then." Kenta says as she implies Armande. "But you didn't comment on anything, I suggest you and I go to this little Hell Fire Club of yours, and get your body back. Break in, I'm still good with that suggestion. I'll break in to help you and my student, unless you have any ideas?"

"I'm sorry," Selene says in a saccharin voice, "I was falling back on the old insult-for-insult trade that's prevalent with you hero types. Yes, I think having my body in 'our' collective hands is for the best. As far as we know, James is running around in it now. Which…is a rather disturbing thought." Another eye ridge raise. "However, we still need to figure out what to do after we have it. I am waiting on Emma to have a moment so we can discuss that."

"Well I'm not a telepath or mind person, just Dark Force, but if we get your body, that might make it easier for Emma." Kenta says as a suggestion. "If you think we can break in well, the cover of darkness will be best. It's a step in the right direction to getting it back. Who knows, you might just need to touch your old body for the switch."

"If we are lucky, yes, that is all it will require. If not…well…we will see." To the rest she shrugs, "Getting there will be easy. I know a way in. It's getting out with 'me' that will prove difficult. But it's nothing you can't overcome, I'm sure." She smiles slyly.

"So when do you want to do this?" Kenta says as he smiles. "And darkness is on my side so I think we can manage something. But you are coming with me doll." He says as he stands up. "Glad we're moving in the right direction. I'd rather work with you than against you right now, since it seems we have a common goal. But if you start threatening the students again, I will attack you."

Selene smiles and raises a hand before making an X over her heat. Or where one 'should' be, "I won't, promise." Or was that ‘I won’t promise?’ "When? Tonight. Midnight. I'll meet you in your music room." And with that, the conversation is over. She returns her gaze to the sky as if none of this had happened.

"See you a midnight." Kenta says as he stands up and walks away, going into the school to check on his son. So Selene got to him a bit about his family, so sue him.
