Log Title: Talk Amongst the Trees

Xavier Mansion- Woods
Pine, Oak, Birch, and many other trees can be found in these woods. Paths lead all through out them for students to take walks. The occasional bench can be found along the paths. Students shouldn't worry about wandering too deep in these woods as its almost impossible for them to get lost here.
Earlier in the evening a fight had broken out at the Salem Center Mall between recently graduated students and current students of the school thanks to the influence of Mindbender and Upgrade upon Robyn. The fight had not gone well for several people and as such after dropping Kael off in the Medbay Tyler has wandered off to the woods of the school clad only in his UM tanktop and shorts. Right now the troubled blonde haired teen is sitting at the base of a large oak tree staring up at the leaves rustling over his head.
Just leaving the school to head home after meeting with the man he, oddly, shares genetics with, Kevin pauses when he crosses the courtyard and smells the recent passage of one of his best friends and decides to make a detour. The younger teen follows Tyler's trail into the woods, pausing for a moment every few minutes to check and make sure that he's still headed in the right direction. He comes to a stop when he spots the blond seated under a tree and slowly approaches the other boy, a faint, worried frown drawing his brows together when he sees his friend upset, "Tyler? You okay?" He sounds half afraid that the other boy is going to say 'no'.
At the sound of footfalls Tyler peers up to notice that Kevin is coming his way. A half hearted attempt at a smile is given to his friend, "Hey, Kev." The truth of the matter is that he wasn't sure how to respond to the question posed to him. Remaining where he is his gaze goes back to the leaves overhead as Kevin approaches the tree. "Not really. There was a fight at the mall hours ago. I'm not even sure what's going on at the moment as I came out here to get away from the school."
Mild panic flashes across Kevin's face when Tyler says he's not alright and the dark haired boy settles down on the ground near his friend, "A fight?" His breath catches and his heard skips a beat, "What happened? Did anyone get hurt?" He needs to know these things! He makes a face at the mention of needing to get away from school and nods, gesturing off in a random direction, "You know, my dads live close to here. You could always come hang out with me there if you want." Beat, "You and Kieran both." Of course his dads won't object to a couple of his friends from school coming to spend time with him!
"I think a lot of people are hurt." Explaining who would be a bit out of order or something so Tyler has to think of how he wants to tell Kevin what happened earlier. "Thank you for offering to have me and Kieran over at your place. I just needed some distance is all." Hair is flipped out of his eyes so that the strands of hair no longer shield his eyes from his friend. Bending his knees Ty plants his bare feet on the grass and rests his arms atop his knees.
"Kieran and I had split up at the mall to search for a few things. We were just about to meet up when I saw Robyn and well Robyn wasn't acting like himself. What happened after that was a buncha insanity."
Kevin winces at the thought of people being hurt, but nods and offers a little smile, "Hey, you and Ki are my best friends! You're always welcome to come over." He reaches over to try to give Ty's shoulder a comforting squeeze, his voice soft and faintly shy sounding. He mimics the other boy's position unconsciously, resting his chin on his arms as he settles in to listen to the story, no matter how unpleasant it is.
He pales a little at the thought of his other friend being involved in the fight as well and turns down right green at the mention of Robyn, sitting up with his back ramrod straight, "Ki and Robyn were both there?! Are they okay? Did they get away? What happened?" Forget the fact that Tyler is already telling him what went on.
Tyler leans against Kevin sighing heavily for the story he's about to tell is an unpleasant one to say the least. The normally upbeat and busy teen is now deflated and brooding over the events. "Robyn was talking a buncha nonsense like he didn't know who we were and that we were some super villains and I was in possession of some diamond." He further explains the bit about Robyn whipping out the psi-blade, then the fighting began, and the possessions.
"Kael appeared and so did some girl I've never seen before but the girl was helping Robyn out and constantly telling us to run which is confusing. Kael got possessed by Robyn, Kieran accidentally fried Kael who dropped like a rock, and then Robyn was all buh-bye and left the mall babbling nonsense while the girl pointed for us to leave the other way."
Deep breath after having gotten all of that out. "So in summary: I was zapped by my possessed boyfriend, Robyn was zapped by my boyfriend, Kael was accidentally zapped by my boyfriend and I got flung around a lot causing awesome structural damages."
Just letting his friend lean against him and quietly rubbing his back to show his support, Kevin listens to the unfolding of the events at the mall. He makes a small upset sound at the thought of Robyn not knowing who the other kids from the school are and shakes his head. He's never met Kael before, but starts a little, "Possessed? Robyn can do that?" He shudders a little at the thought of what his father would have to say about a boy that can take possession of another person. He winces when hearing that Kieran zapped this Kael person and sighs, opening his mouth to comment on Robyn getting away, but just sitting there with his mouth hanging open and his eyes wide with shock at the summation of what happened, "Wait: Kieran got possessed?" His voice rises almost an octave, "And he zapped you?!" ACK! "Are you okay? You aren't hurt or anything, are you? Is Kieran alright? And what about this Kael person?" Lots of questions…
"Yeah, I knew a little of what Robyn could do from that one time he talked on the grounds but not about the whole possession thing. I didn't know till it happened." Tyler frowns. There are so many questions which Ty had expected given that there was so much information that had to be related to his friend. "Yes, he zapped me. No, Kieran didn't zap me it was Robyn in Kieran. Eugh!" Still disturbed by the fact that Kieran had been taken over by Robyn for a time not to mention turning Kieran on him. "What could I do? I couldn't attack Ki even if I'd had the time to react."
"Kieran is alright though he's completely zonked out in his room. He'd used up everything he had trying to stop Robyn and this other person." Turning his gaze upon Kevin, "Kael took a nasty shot from Ki which has the poor dude recovering in the medbay. Robyn walked off so I've no idea what's going on with him." As for himself? "I'm not hurt Kev just angry at myself and at Robyn."
Kevin just shakes his head and sighs at that, "Father would have so much to say about Robyn possessing people…" He wrinkles his nose and winces at the confirmation and defense of Ki zapping the other boy, "I'm so sorry I wasn't there to help you both… I don't like my friends getting hurt like that." Because being possessed has to hurt, right? He tries to slip an arm around Tyler's shoulders to give him a comforting hug and cringes a little at Kieran being exhausted and Kael being in the medbay. That last has him pulling away a little and half turning to look at the other boy sternly, "It wasn't your fault! You couldn't just go and attack Kieran, even if he was hurting people. I'm sure you did everything you could to make sure nobody got hurt…" He scowls a little at being angry with Robyn and nods, "Yeah, but it sounds like he's not exactly himself, either. You said he thought y'all were super villains, right?" So he wasn't in his right mind.
"I don't know what has gotten into Robyn then again I knew him all of like a week or two before he graduated so I can't really say other than; seriously what the hell?" Tyler shakes his head before touching his forehead to the arms he has bent and resting on his knees. "I didn't do anything, Kev. Ok, no. I managed to bust up some roof tile, kill a few plants and totally wreck some of the Apple store. I honestly don't think anyone did much of anything other than break things and make absolutely no sense."
What's bothering Tyler is not only was he ineffective in the entire situation he managed to destroy quite a lot of property before doing something useful by helping to carry Kael out to the parking lot to wait for help. "I just wish I could have done something to keep all of that from happening. I don't even know what to think about it all." Pulls back to rest his head against the tree and peer over at Kevin with sad blue eyes. "I really don't like what went down with Kieran. Don't know if he's going to be upset or angry or think that I'm pissed at him for what Robyn made him do. It's a mess dude. Worse than Sharon Stone's look on the Oscar Red carpet this year." Then he thinks a moment. "You know what I'm talking about right? She had a beehive for a hair do and there's some dead fuzzy raven thing on the shoulder of her dress. It was TERRIBLE."
Kevin just shakes his head and makes a face, "Yeah, I know. I've only met Robyn a couple of times, but he was really nice when I did." Introduced him to a really good movie! He winces at Tyler's complaint and nods, again going back to sympathetically rubbing his friend's back, "I'm sorry it was so stupid and senseless…" At least everyone (other than the poor plants) survived, though, "At least Robyn didn't go around killing a bunch of people, though." Sounds like there might be something to that… He makes a face at the thought of Kieran freaking out about what he was made to do and nods, "Yeah…" His expression takes on a faint look like a puppy that's expecting to be kicked, but hoping to get a bellyrub instead, "If you want, I'll go with you when you talk to him… I know what it's like to not really be thinking right and hurt people."
Then fashion is being brought up and he blinks a couple of times in confusion, shaking his head, "Um… I've never really payed that much attention to the way people look…" He sighs, "Father didn't think it was appropriate for me to watch awards shows."
