NYC - Seaside Warehouse

This warehouse is like any other. It's cold, somewhat damp, there are boxes stacked up about the place and a second floor that only wraps around the inner edge of the building, made to look over the floor below. Only there is something odd about this place, as those boxes and rooms hold the property of the Young Avengers. Training ground and living quarters for the young team.

It's evening at the warehouse that serves as the headquarters for the Young Avengers. And after a long day of patrol and fighting in the city, Hulkling's settled in for dinner and to go over the intel collected at Avengers Mansion. Picking at some french fries he got on the way home, the shapeshifting power house is sitting on the couch in the 'living area' of the base. A laptop's on the table in front of him displaying some scan data on the domes and teleport signatures.

Vision soon floats down from the roof. He phases back as he touches the ground. "Hello Teddy, I've delivered the intelligence to the X-Men. Completed the reconnoiter of the boroughs seems there there is activity all around they city. Various heroes acting accordingly." The android moves over to the couch to take a seat.

Teddy jumps, going green for a moment before shifting back to his 'human' appearance. "Hey, Jonas," he says, a little embarassed that he was startled. "Good to have you back. I got some more intel for us from the Avengers Mansion," he gestures at the laptop. "Lionheart's back from England and is guarding the Mansion for now," he adds, informing his teammate of a 'senior Avenger' returning.

"Good news, we may need her assistance. I still have not found any information on Captain America, or Iron Man." Jonas sits down, looking to the laptop. "And what new intel do we have on the invasion?"

Nodding, Teddy turns the laptop to Vision and nods. "Yeah, she should prove helpful. Powers like Captain Britain," he says, having done a little research. "First, the fields covering the locations in Memphis and LA have weakened considerably and we think we can get through them now with enough force," he cracks his knuckles as he says this. "Second, it looks like they've established a permanent warp gate in the LA dome," he points to the energy spike and level off in the incursion signal. "We managed to ID their teleporters to," he brings up the list os teleporters alongside the dome data. There's a pause as the shapeshifter snags some fries before he goes on. "We also found this," his expression gets a bit more serious. "Two years ago, something from their dimension traveled here to ours. It stayed here for about a week before running somewhere else but it left an energy trace that seems to be what brought the invaders. Why they haven't just attacked where the trace is I dunno…" he shrugs. "But I think those aliens that invaded their world set us up to take the fall for them. Can't find any info on them either."

Vision listens and watches the screen with intensity. "There was an incident two years ago concerning extraterrestrials. I will check the database for people that were affected." Jonas stands up, starting to move over to the computer room. He's ready to crunch some numbers, take things further, he can do this type of thing faster than most others.

Teddy jumps. "What incident? I couldn't find anything in the database at the mansion," he seems surprised.

The android starts to type very fast on the keyboard in front of him. "If you only checked the database at the mansion, you wouldn't have found it. It was during the type where my first body was destroyed, the Avengers had broken up for a time. But if you cross-reference with local newspaper websites. You can find that there was an invasion with plant-like beings. Seemed to concentrate their efforts around Westchester and Central Park." He looks to Teddy. "I will try and see if these creatures are in fact the same kind of alien that took over the alternate universe."

Teddy blinks a few times. "Plant-like aliens…" he trails off, trying to remember them. "The incursion happened in Minnesota though," he adds. "Think we should head down to there and see what's up?"

"Yes, we should investigate further." After the research has not yielded anything, Vision stands. "Have we received permission to use a QuinJet?" He asks Teddy, Jonas can fly on his own but can't bring anyone with him safely.

Teddy shakes his head. "No. I couldn't get Lionheart to give me one and no one else was around to talk to. She couldn't find them either," he replies and then lets out a little noise of exhasperation. "If we can get Billy, Tommy, and Dante…maybe we could…borrow one," he looks down with a sheepish smile as he says this. "We should pass the info along to that X-kid too."

"I would not recommend that course of action, unless you would want to put our recognition by the U.N. in jeopardy." Jonas quips to Hulkling. "Though I think that this one time it may be overlooked. I will deliver this to the X-Men as soon as possible."

Teddy lets out a nervous laugh. "Well, Billy and I stowed away on the QuinJet before to help raid an AIM facility…" he trails off. "But yeah, only if we can't find another way," he says with a nod. "Alright, Jonas. Stay safe out there when ya go."

Jonas gives a soft nod, taking out a memory device from the console and placing it on his body. Good thing they can phase with him. "I will. I should return tonight." He phases before taking off through the ceiling.

Teddy nods. "See ya later, Vision," he calls. He stands there for a few moments before shrugging. "Guess I'll get a shower in…" he trails off, turning and leaving the computer room.
